Hi! Very sorry for the delayed prize, but congratulations on winning first in photography for the "Best of the Best" contest! Since you didn't request a critique, I'll give you a comment instead!
First, if I had to rate it like a real critique, here would be my stars: Vision: Originality: Technique: Impact:
Now for the actual critique! To start off, I really like the colors you used, with all the browns and dark ambers; it reminds me of autumn! The colors together also look really pretty in the eye. Not only are the colors wonderful but the pattern inside the eye is beautiful too; like the print of an animal. Technically or mechanically, the blur and sharpness are very well done and are pretty much in all the right places. If I had to give one piece of constructive critisism, I'd have to say that although the eye has the perfect amount of clarity, there's a little too much bluriness in the bottom right corner where the bottom lashes are; to me, which is my opinion, the change between sharp and blurry looks so abrupt, not gradual.

Overall, wonderful job!
